Event Log

From Mission Manager Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

The Event Log screen allows you to log events for your active mission. Certain events are automatically logged such as ICS personnel changes (i.e. Incident commander, Planning, Operations officers, etc.). Changes in the General settings such as Command Post location, name, etc. are also automatically logged. See the table below for a list of events that are logged automatically.

The "Check to enter specified operational period, date and time" option at the bottom of this screen allows you to specify a specific Operational Period, date, and time. This feature can be used to make entries that were done on paper before the computer system arrived on scene or insert log entries that were missed.

Items in the Event Log cannot be deleted or edited, other than to append new information to the existing entry. Use the Edit button to append new information. If you attempt to change the existing information on an Event Log entry, you'll see an error message and your edit WILL NOT be saved.

The event log can be printed in the standard ICS Event Log format. If there are multiple operational periods, each operational period will print on a separate page.

The event log can be exported to CSV by using the Export Event Log button.

This Event Log screen like many other screens in Mission Manager can be changed by multiple people on different computers at the same time. Changes by one person will automatically be reflected on all other screens logged into the same mission.
